Why do the weekends seem to fly by? I would assume it was because it was a fun filled weekend!
On Friday we had a softball game. We should of been able to keep up with the team we played but uhh our pitcher decided to play in a 2-day cornhole tournament on Thursday and Friday. Since I am married to the pitcher I can give him a hard time for all the guys he walked (if you walk a guy the girl following has the option to hit or take a base). We lost pretty bad, but I did turn a double play! Andy also won the tournament so next weekend we will be enjoying a Reds game from the Cincinnati Bell Pavillion while dining on free food and drinks
I had been looking forward to Saturday since my last, not so good, long run. Finally it worked out that Vicki and I could run together. I love catching up while running. I feel like the miles go much fast, especially towards the end. We stopped for Gu and water at mile 7ish. I tried the peanut butter flavor and I must say I’m a fan! We are 33 days out from the half and we are looking good.
After the run and a pumpkin coffee I headed home to get ready to head to Logan’s football game. I can’t believe I have been going to his games for the past 5 years! I love watching him play. Most of the time he is the littlest guy out there but will still hit and tackle anyone! He played very well and his team won.
After the game I went up to the mall to do some shopping. Turns out it was one of those days where I couldn’t find anything I had to have. I liked this outfit but really didn’t have anywhere to wear it. I may go back to H&M to get the skirt because I do like the color. I only left the mall with a new fall candle from Bath & Body Works.
Andy was golfing all day so once he got home we headed to his cousins for a fall grill out. While at the store I had to get some pumpkin beer (obsessed much?!). I brought the Blue Moon and someone else brought the Shock Top. I liked both but preferred the Blue Moon. (Let me know of other pumpkin beers I should try!)
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. I met up with my other coach to work on the hip hop routine for the dance team. Then it was off to the in-laws for the Bengals game. The crowd was light this week but it was still fun to cheer on our team again! Glad to see the Bengals win, WhoDey! I ended my Sunday with a restoration yoga with reiki class.
How was your weekend?
