OOTD: Teal & White

Over the weekend I had another baby shower to attend. I have another cousin who is due in August, the same as my other cousin! August is going to be a busy month for my family! We finally had a day without rain (seriously, I think it rained for 4 days straight!), so I was able to dress for the sunny weather :)

I don’t wear this skirt enough. It’s a linen blend which is perfect for summer. Another thing I don’t wear enough, those wedges! They are really comfortable and fun!

This necklace is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry, and it cost less than $15. I always get compliments on it! No one believes me it came from H&M!

What’s something you love to wear but don’t wear it enough?

Fresh Produce Clothes:: review

Recently I was given the opportunity to review a piece of clothing from Fresh Produce. I had such a hard  time choosing, they offer so many great pieces and at really great prices! I am loving their new summer collection. Here are a few of my favorite items:

I have mentioned before that I coach a dance team. There are many times I am going to other events after dance so having something that is cute and trendy to throw on over leggings was perfect! So once I saw the Snuggle Knit Tunic I had to order it!

Ordering online was super easy! And what was even better was the super fast shipping! I received my order in about 3 days!

I was happy to find that the tunic was a little longer on me. The fresh mango color is perfect for summer. I love the oversized look of this top. Comfy, cute, and fun make for a great outfit!

Spring Colors: OOTD

The calendar says spring even though it doesn’t quite feel like it yet. That isn’t stopping me from wearing some of my favorite spring colors. Maybe if I stop wearing my winter tights, sweaters, and boots spring will show up!

Those sparkly shoes are one of my favorite finds. I found them at a shop in Chicago when I was there last and paid less than $20 for them! I found the other items at one of my favorite places to shop, the outlet mall!

I love pairing cream with light blue, they are great colors for the season (and Easter!).

Polka Dots: OOTD

I mentioned in yesterdays post that I did some shopping at the outlet mall over the weeknd. I was excited to find these polka dot skinny jeans at the Gap. What made me even more excited was the price tag that read $19.99 with an additional 30% off! You know, I always love a good deal!

I remember when skinny jeans came out and I thought they were just awful. It wasn’t until the style stuck around for a year or so before I gave them a try. Now, I find myself picking my skinny jeans over my favorite bootcut jeans!

My Sunday was super busy so a messy bun was essential!

Friday Letters: Its been a while….

Happy Friday everyone!

Dear weekend: I have been looking forward to you all week. I have so many fun things planned that include running, the spa, the movies, and lunch dates! I can’t wait!

Dear Tassimo: Thank you for finding some new coffee vendors.  After you ditched Starbucks a couple years ago, I couldn’t find a coffee I was all that crazy about. In my last order I decided to try Tim Hortons. I am so glad I did because this is now my new favorite! Also, thanks for mistakenly sending me a pack of the chai tea latte’s. I don’t think I would have bought them, but they are the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

Dear Andy: You truly have the best wife, I mean who else would drive you and your buddy to the airport at 4:30 am on a Friday?! I hope you have a great guys trip in the mountains this weekend! Be safe on the slopes, and don’t forget my gift ;)

From last year’s trip.

Dear Starbucks: Oh how I love my Starbucks Fridays! Everyone should totally jump on this. A treat each Friday for getting through the week makes the week go faster. I can’t wait to try your new hazelnut macchiato today!

Dear Lauren: How does the saying go? When the guys are away, the girls will play?! I am so looking forward to our spa day tomorrow! Mexican food, facials, and pedicures sound like a perfect Saturday to me. I think a girls weekend to the beach in our future!

Dear 16-miler: I think something is wrong with me. I mean, who gets excited for a 16 mile long run? I love seeing those numbers on my Garmin. I’m pretty sure I am still on a runners high after my huge 10k PR last weekend! I love running with my group and getting to run with people who haven’t hit those high miles yet. Also, look below. Those temps mean I get to run in shorts tomorrow!

Dear weather: You have been all over the place this week! I enjoyed the surprise snow day on Wednesday and am beyond thrilled to see the temps in the 50′s & 60′s next week. Let’s make sure the snow is done and the sunshine is here to stay!
